However, if the add-on is not properly done, one can easily loose his/her sense of direction, focus and even all that he/she has already achieved in a particular field, just to chase a ghost he or she may never catch. Fast rising Ghanaian songstress-Efya, real name Jane Awindor is in the news for making a jump into Ghanaian movies.
Efya as a musician has not even achieved a quater of her worth-Greatness. She is still struggling to reconcile with her enormous musical talent and build a brand or a sustainable career.
Recently, Efya is cast to play a major role in an upcoming Ghanaian movie alongside top acts-Chris Attoh, Nadia Buari, Kofi Adjorlolo, and Yvonne Nelson among others from Nigeria

MISS GHANA 2011, REBUILDS SODOM AND GOMORRAH SUBURB FOR ACCRA HABITANTS

Recently, the winner of the Miss Ghana 2011, Ms. Stephanie Karikari recently rehabilitated the Sodom and Gomorrah suburb in Accra. After seeing their plight, she decided to do something worthwhile by putting up a structure for the habitant to live in.
As part of her social responsibility, she is living up to it with part of the cash prize of £10,000 for a particular segment of the Miss World pageantry she partook in late last year. Soon a land will be acquired and then a more huge artifice will be built.

MISS WORLD VISITS GHANA ON MAY 19


Accra, 7th May 2012 – The world’s most beautiful lady Ivian Sarcos, 22, winner of the 2011 edition of the most prestigious beauty pageant on earth, Miss World, is set to visit Ghana from the 19th to the 23rd of May.

Accompanying Sarcos, who hails from the Southern American country of Venezuela, is a full entourage of the Miss World team including the first and second runner ups from the Philippines and Puerto Rico, Miss World Europe, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Miss World organization Julia Morley, and some members of the international press among others.
This historic visit by the reigning Miss World forms part of plans by the Miss World organization to support winners of the beauty with a purpose award. This is an honour to contestants who have made real differences in the lives of people in their countries; especially those of underprivileged children. Miss Ghana 2010, Stephanie Karikari, was a joint winner of the award at the Miss World 2011 event.
 Miss Ghana 2010, Stephanie Karikari, seeks to build a state of the art nursery for a day care facility at Ayalolo. This is to help the children at Sodom and Gomorrah slum in the Central Business District of Accra.
