The maiden edition of the Ghana DJ Awards was launched recently. Merqury Republic Events, who are the organizers, have just released the category list.

The categories has been divided into three sections; ‘Public’, ‘Industry’ and ‘Honorary’. The award is scheduled to take place on September 22, 2012.

Below are the categories.

Best Hip Life DJ

Best Reggae DJ

Popular DJ of the Year

Best Female DJ

Best Radio DJ

Best Mobile DJ

Best Club DJ

Industry Section:

Video Jockey

Mixtape DJ of the Year

Night Club DJ

Artiste DJ

Best Record Promoter

Best Event DJ

Honorary Section:

DJ Discovery of the Year

Best International DJ

Best International GH DJ

Life Time Achievement
